800 g de patatas (800 g of potatoes) Benites Castillo
1 cebolla (1 onion ) Izquierdo Hernandez Francisco
2 dl de aceite de oliva virgen extra (2 dl extra virgin olive oil) Black Pearl Internacional
5 huevos (5 eggs ) Disaberel 209
sal (Salt)

Preparación

  1. Peel the potatoes, wash them, dry them, and cut them into thin slices. Peel and chop the onion.
  2. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over low heat and sauté the onion.
  3. Add the potatoes and season with salt.
  4. Continue cooking over low heat and stir the potatoes from time to time until they are tender.
  5. Beat the eggs in a bowl. Season with salt, add the drained potatoes, and mix with the eggs.
  6. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and add the mixture of eggs and potatoes. First set the tortilla over high heat, then reduce the heat for 5 min. When it is curdled on one side, put a lid on top and turn it over. Gently drain the tortilla again in the pan, so that it curdles on the other side. The omelet must be golden brown on the outside and soft on the inside.

Note: It can be made without onion.
