Se trata de un bollo de pan que se rellena de una mezcla de carne cocida de bogavante, habitualmente pinza y codo, o a veces se incluye también carne de cola.
If there is a dish that combines classic and modern concepts, that is the lobster roll; that is offered in almost any restaurant in the northeastern United States. It is a bread bun that is filled with a mixture of cooked lobster meat, usually, claw and elbow, or sometimes it also includes tail meat.

Reservamos 10 trozos de carne de pinza, cortamos el bogavante restante en trozos de 2 – 3 cm y lo mezclamos todo cuidadosamente. Rellenamos el bollo de pan (que puede ser tostado y untado con mantequilla) con 80 – 110 g de la mezcla fría de bogavante (que incluye 1 pinza), y espolvoreamos levemente la mezcla con especias y hierbas.
Opción bogavante templado con mantequilla
Caliente cuidadosamente el bogavante con la mantequilla derretida durante 1 -2 minutos. Rellene un panecillo (tostado y con mantequilla si se desea), y espolvoree con más mantequilla fundida.
Basic mix option:
reserve 10 pieces of claw meat, cut the remaining lobster into 2 – 3 cm pieces, and mix everything carefully. Fill the bread roll (which can be toasted and buttered) with 80 – 110 g of the cold lobster mixture (which includes 1 clamp), and lightly sprinkle the mixture with spices and herbs.
Option warm lobster with butter
Carefully heat the lobster with the melted butter for 1-2 minutes. Fill a bun (toasted and buttered if desired), and sprinkle with more melted butter.
