Mexico is a country famous for many things: from its paradisiacal beaches to its cultural heritage, passing through each of its legends, history, and 32 states, in which 126.2 million inhabitants live. To the north, it has its border with the United States; to the south, with Guatemala. It also has more than 11,000 kilometers of coastline between the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.

Its gastronomy collects varied colors. The different colors of chili peppers or fruits are a good example. The spiciness is also characteristic. Among all the ingredients, corn is king. For the Mexica, he was represented by the god Centéotl, a patron of drunkenness and drinking in all the rituals of this culture. Mexican cuisine has an international distinction because it was declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by Unesco.

Tequila is the drink par excellence. So much so that in Jalisco there are different routes and museums to learn about its history, evolution, and production. The Margarita, therefore, is the cocktail par excellence: tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and salt.
