Honduras is a country located in Central America. It is bathed by the Caribbean Sea to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south. It shares land borders with its neighboring countries: Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Guatemala, and is home to different indigenous groups. Its more than 900 kilometers of coastline are presented as a common and popular tourist destination among tourists. In addition to good views on the surface, the Honduran waters hide great paradises for diving. The Bay Islands and Cayos Cochinos are good examples.

The country is the cradle of music that is danced on the tip of the feet: the tip is one of its characteristic rhythms.

The typical Honduran food mixes indigenous, Spanish, and African flavors. The result is a very intense flavor and dishes full of color. Corn, beans, plantain, green banana, and coconut are the main and representative ingredients of its gastronomy. Other tropical fruits such as mango, papaya, plum, sapote, pineapple, or passion fruit are also characteristic.
